@Si4351233

You can add it as a custom metric, which you can then use in Custom reports, but you would only ever be able to use it in reports for specific time scales. That is, you can make a custom metric of pageviews/30, but it would only make sense when used in a report for a 30 day period.

You can also do this in Data Studio

If you are on Wordpress then you can use this plugin- onlineincometeacher.com/review/wordpress-seo-plugin-by-yoast/ and also can do with Yoast SEO plugin.

@Si4351233

I have been getting Abuse Report via my Hosting company which is reported by other people, and my host has been threatening to terminate the hosting/account.

The abuse report is sent because I am displaying Domain WHOIS information on my website which the reporter claims is private information and I am not allowed to display it on the website.

If, such website is illegal then how the websites having similar content like following were operating:
whois.domaintools.com/quora.com www.whois.com/whois/quora.com https://who.is/whois/quora.com

Are such information (Domain WHOIS) considered private information about a person or organization?

If, those are Public information, how can I prove it to my Host/Reporter? Is it anywhere written officially that I can display it when running WHOIS lookup website?

 query : Re: How to properly redirect SEO from an old domain to a new one - should I display a message first? I have a domain, lets say example.com. I am rebranding the website and moving to example2.com.

@Si4351233

When you change URLs, one thing you need to take care of is 301 redirection. Every page from “Domain A” should now point to “Domain B”.

For example:

DomaninA.com/123.html should 301 redirect to DomainB.com/123.html

You can verify the same using an online redirect checker. Here is one such redirect checker- www.redirect-checker.org/
Setting up Permanent 301 Redirects
Setting up a permanent 301 redirect is very important for both SEO and user experience. This allows you to redirect users and search engines to your new site. In other words, whenever someone lands on one of your old posts or pages, then they will be automatically redirected to your new site.

To setup a permanent 301 redirect, you need to connect to your old site using FTP and edit the .htaccess file. This will be located in the same directory as your wp-includes or wp-admin folder. Open the .htaccess file and paste the following code at the very top:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ www.newsite.COM/ [R=301,L]

Note: Replace newsite.com with your domain in the above code.

Once you have applied these changes, then visit your old site. It should automatically redirect you to the new site. If it doesn’t, then it means the redirection is not setup properly.

Step 4: Notifying Google About the Change
Login to your Google Webmaster Tools account to submit a change of address. Basically click on your site and look at the left menu under configuration. This allows you to notify Google about your new site and the transfer. Yes, you have to verify your new site, so go ahead and do it.
Google Webmaster Tools Change of Address

Step 5: Notify Users
While the 301 redirects do the job, it is always good to make a public announcement about the migration. You can do this by simply writing a blog post on your new site. This can be helpful in a lot of ways. First and foremost, your users are more likely to remember the new domain once they read about it.

Second, you can ask your users to let you know if they see any bugs. This can be very helpful because you alone cannot test your site in all different type of browsers and system environments. Besides it always help to have a fresh pair of eyes looking at it.

I have a client who has website with multiple pages. Now, each page has tabbed content which is accessible through #. For example:

example.com/page1#content1
example.com/page1#content2
example.com/page1#content3
example.com/page2#content1
example.com/page2#content2

Now, when search engines index they are indexing only example.com/page1/ and example.com/page2/. This creates a problem where we cannot have search engines point directly to the content within a given tab. What we want is for search engines to show links that takes users directly to (say) example.com/page1#content3.

Now, I don't think Google can index such #-based content on its own. So, I have two ideas in my mind:

Add these # based URLs in the sitemap - But I have heard that search engines drop anything after the #. So this might not work.
Add vanity URLs in the sitemap and do a 301 redirect to the hashed URLs. For example, I can add example.com/page1/content3/ in the sitemap and then have it redirected is to example.com/page1#content3.

What do you recommend how should I solve this problem? We don't want to re-architect the site pages.

Each of the 25 items is unique - created by me. These blog posts aren't paginated but each of the 25 items also has standalone value and therefore is reachable via its own unique permalink separately from the post to which it belongs.

Should I noindex the separate item pages because they contain the same content as they contain when in the 25 items group in the parent post? Would the separate pages be considered duplicate content?

I prefer to have the blog posts indexed because cumulatively the 25 items offer a better search-ability value.

Those leads are sent to my partners via email. I NEED to send the email, otherwise they won't receive the lead. That email is core to my business.

But the email is mostly the same, only changing the lead information (name, phone, email...) and I'm afraid of being classified as spam. Do I have to include a "unsubscribe" button for these emails so that I'm not classified as spam?

@Si4351233

I own a few niche sites wherein I recommend various products related to the sites' foci, and provide monetized links (usually to Amazon) for people to buy those products.

On occasion, I get emails from product manufacturers who want me to test, review, and promote their products. They typically begin with something along the lines of, "We noticed that you evaluate and review [type of product] on your site, and we were wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing our [model of product]." A short description, a link, and a statement that I would get to keep the product regardless of the opinions I express in my review, usually follow.

I also occasionally get emails asking whether I'm willing to enter into a direct advertising arrangement with a company for some product or products. Usually these emails also include an offer of a sample or samples of the product(s) in question for me to test before I commit to accepting the advertising deal.

By way of background, I'm about as anti-spam as a person can get. I've been a Spamcop reporter since shortly after Julian Haight founded the outfit, and I have reported close to 100,000 pieces of spam since then. Just the fact that I didn't ask to be contacted is enough to make me think about reporting a piece of email as spam.

But even being as anti-spam as I am, I don't report sincere requests for product reviews or advertising inquiries as spam as long as the emails are polite, well-written (with some slack extended to those for whom English isn't their first language), and include an unsub link or some other easy means of not being contacted again if I'm not interested. At the risk of being self-centered, I think most people who do product reviews or who accept product advertising probably feel much the same way.

That being said, you should be aware that there are morons out there who report anything that they don't want to read on a given day as spam. I frequently have to contact ISPs and RBL maintainers to point out that an email from one of my users that their user reported as spam was actually a legitimate invoice, a proposal that the user requested, a newsletter that they opted into receiving, a collection notice, or some other unquestionably legitimate piece of mail. Many users are too trigger-happy when it comes to reporting spam.

Similarly, some ISPs and RBLs are also trigger-happy when it comes to blacklisting a sender. Some will blacklist a sender based on a single spam report. And more often than not, the blacklisting applies to the mail server's IP address, not to the sending domain. So if you're hosting multiple sites or clients that send mail through the same IP, all of them will find themselves unable to send mail to recipients whose email providers use the RBL in question.

As I mentioned, I believe that most reasonable reviewers and tech writers would not report a well-written request for a review as spam. But some might: And if they do, you run the risk of your mail server's IP address being blacklisted.

If that were to happen, the removal process would range from very easy (or even automatic), to nearly impossible, depending on the maintainer. Some maintainers automatically remove IPs after x-number of hours or days, some provide automated removal forms, others manually review requests but are reasonable about them, and others will never remove an IP or have no way to even contact them about it.

In summary, if you choose to do what you're considering, be very careful about the wording of the email. Run it past a few friends and colleagues to see if it comes off as "spammy" to them. Be pleasant and polite, but also brief and to the point. Also provide an easy way for the recipient to opt out of ever hearing from you again. You really don't want a recipient reporting your email because they got up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

Also consider using a separate domain with a dedicated IP address rather than one that handles mail for other domains, and send mail through that dedicated IP. Some RBLs will block entire netblocks, but most do not. I require clients who want to send even double opt-in automated mailings to have dedicated IP addresses and to send mail through them. That at least protects the rest of my users from winding up on RBLs because some moron falsely reported the mass-sender's legitimate mailings as spam.

The client certificates are used to assign access permissions to repository categories by using <Files>, SSLRequire and fossil's ability to serve entire directories. I.e.:

<Files internal>
SSLRequire %{SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_OU} eq "Owner"

This works well, but I've started to realize that as we're growing and some people gain wider range of responsibilities this is somewhat cumbersome. Most importantly it's a pain to have to edit the apache config files and restart apache each time permissions are updated.

What mechanisms are there to update apache configurations dynamically? (Specifically SSL rules). Is this something that one could solve using the Lua module and a simple sqlite database for containing the access lists? Is a custom written "Authorization Provider" the proper tool for this job?

Strucuted Data Markup. We have to "tag" each and every elements on our page so Google understands it well and then gives enhanced results
on the SERP.

You can tag this structured data markup programatically in either of these three formats

JSON LD (Recommended as it is acceptable by Google, Yahoo, Bing and Yandex)
Microdata
RDFa

The JSON LD code example is already explained above by L Martin. You can read more about JSON LD product markup here.

Incase you want to do it quickly, then Google also has a Structured Data Markup Helper tool which you can use from the Google Webmasters.

Once it is done, then Google will understand which image to show on the search result page.

Hi, after the discussion in comments, here is the code which you can try and experiment. I have checked in Structured Data Testing Tool and it is working fine.

<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "http://schema.org/",
"@type": "Product",
"name": [
"Regular Backpack Billboard",
"Walking Billboards",
"Human Billboards"
],
"image": [
"https://backpackbillboards.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/backpack-billboards-1x1.jpg",
"https://backpackbillboards.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/backpack-billboards-4x3.jpg",
"https://backpackbillboards.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/backpack-billboards-16x9.jpg"
],
"description": "Backpack Billboards feature a rechargeable battery which powers the internal LED lights providing a bright illuminated display for up to 8 hours.",
"sku": "BPBB8",
"brand": {
"@type": "Thing",
"name": [
"Regular Backpack Billboard",
"Walking Billboards",
"Human Billboards"
]
},
"offers": {
"@type": "Offer",
"priceCurrency": "USD",
"price": "299.00",
"priceValidUntil": "2020-11-11",
"itemCondition": "http://schema.org/NewCondition",
"availability": "http://schema.org/InStock",
"seller": {
"@type": "Organization",
"name": [
"Backpack Billboards",
"Human Billboards",
"Walking Billboards"
]
}
}
}
</script>

I've tried following

Added three properties as an array under an attribute "name" of type "Product"
Added three properties as an array under an attribute "brand" of type "Thing"
Added three properties as an array under an attribute "name" of type
"Organization"

This script works in structured data testing tool, however, not sure
if it the correct solution as per your query. Try it first and let me
know if it works or not.

I have submitted my Wordpress XML sitemap to Bing Master Tools. It is properly crawled and working as expected.

Bing also automatically finds my WordPress category listing pages RSS feeds and enlists them as other sitemaps. Such RSS feeds are listed as sitemaps for almost all of the categories. I have to manually login to Bing Webmaster and delete them, but again just automatically find them again. Is there anyway to stop Bing Webmaster for enlisting such RSS feeds?

I would only like to have my regular site map in Bing Webmaster Tools. Sitemaps should affect search results. There are some pages to which I want Bing to give more priority. That is how my XML sitemap is designed. So I just want my XML sitemap in Bing Webmasters.

Is it a proper usage when OfferCatalog contains offers from different sellers (online marketplace, for instance)?

The intent is to create offer list which contains separate offers from different sellers. Offers presented without any aggregation, one by one. All offered products itself serve the same purpose. It can be a list of screwdrivers, available in certain area, offered by different sellers, for instance.
